Part of the Naga dynasty, this exciting variety is special in that the ripening yellow colour of the fruits themselves extends into the calyx and stems of the plant!Â
The term 'BBG' means bleeding bubble gum. This chilli was originally created by the UK chili grower Terry Smith, with the help of Welsh grower Chris Fowler.Â
These fruits can sometimes be on the smaller side but certainly still pack a punch in the heat department! The fruits tend to also have various twisted elongated shapes.
Note that this is a hybrid created by chilli enthusiasts. And as with many new hybrids, there is a chance that the strain isn't fully stable. So there is a chance you may end up with a plant that is a bit different from the original. But this is the exciting part of growing new weird and wonderful varieties that the chilli breeding community produces.Â
