A stunning ornamental plant as well as a versatile culinary chilli, with medium heat and a sweet finish. Bears slender, long fruits which undergo a remarkable colour transition, starting a beautiful violet hue, morphing to orange-brown and then maturing to red. Plants can reach up to 1.5m tall and produces fruits that can be up to 10 to 15cm long
Mature fruits develop a sweet, cayenne-like flavour.
Heat level: 30,000 to 50,000 SHUs. Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.
Harvest: Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. The best flavour come out when the fruits have ripened.
Size: Plants can grow quite tall about 1m and will require support.

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
