Demon Red 1 Litre Pot Plant

Demon Red is a small hot chilli plant that has been bred for growing in containers, indoors or outdoors, on the windowsill or patio. It received the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2011.
It is a very prolific fruiter with upward facing 4cm long fruits, widely used in Thai cooking.
Heat level: Approximately 30,000 to 50,000 SHUs. Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.
Harvest: Starts fruiting about 70 days from potting on as seedlings and under good growing conditions. Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from green to red.
Size: The plant can grow to 35cm high and doesn't require support. It can ben grown in pots or in the ground. Pots should be a minimum of 1 litre, but 2 litres is preferable.

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
