This is a very popular general-purpose chilli in the USA. The plant produces copious conical-shaped 8cm chillies with thick flesh similar to a Jalapeño. Very easy to grow and gives a good supply of red or green chillies for general purpose cooking and fresh salsa.
Heat level: Approx. 6,000 SHUs. Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.
Harvest: Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from green to red.
Size: Plants can get quite tall, well over 1m and will require support if grown in pots. They can also be grown in hanging baskets.

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.
