Hungarian Hot Wax 1 Litre Pot Plant
Grown using 100% renewable energy!
This plant is amazingly prolific and very easy to grow. The crisp, fleshy fruits are up to 11cm in length with a mild heat. The fruits are good for chopping into a stir fry or for frying/grilling whole. The fruits are normally harvested yellow to keep the plant fruiting, but if left on the bush they will ripen to orange. The first crop is ready for picking about 70 days from potting on.
Heat level: Approx. 2,000 SHUs. Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.
Harvest: Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from lime green to yellow/red. Fruits are best when they are fully matured and have started turning a light shade of yellow.
Size: Plants can grow to about 80cm and will require support because of the heavy fruits.

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
